UNIX-g33ks

 
UNIX-g33ks is a series of training sessions conducted by @sureshdr at HackerspaceKL.

Electronics Mastery 

 

This is a class that teaches the basics of electronics, Arduino and circuitry at HackerspaceKL. The class is conducted by @spoonfork and @klks84.  At the end of this training course, you will be: 

  • Familiar with Arduino and how it works 
  • Familiar with basic electronic components and how they work 
  • Able to write simple Arduino codes 
  • Able to design circuit diagrams and construct the circuits on a breadboard 
  • Control electronic equipments such as servos, LEDs, motors, LCDs, etc using an Arduino board 
  • Build simple Arduino shields 
  • Build a simple solar-powered beam bot
This class is limited to 10 - 14 students. Students will work in pairs for the exercises. The class is scheduled to start in October 2010.

Hackerspace In Space

 
This project aims to lunch a balloon into near space. For more information, refer to the this page: Hackerspace in Space. Due to lack of participation and leadership, this project was abandoned.
